General

How do I request API access?

Submit a request via https://tui-air-links.com using the System Access option, naming the aviation-crew-master-data API product. Requests are reviewed by the AOPS Tech team and require a business case.

What authentication does the API use?

OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials flow. You receive a client ID and secret on approval, then exchange them for a bearer token at the appropriate token endpoint.

Are there call frequency limits?

No specific rate limits are enforced. The API uses a scalable, serverless architecture that supports high volumes and parallel calls.

How fresh is the data?

Crew data is refreshed from IDPS approximately every five minutes.

What date range can I query?

From one year before the current date through one year ahead.

Parameters

What does the flat parameter do?

When true, the API returns one deduplicated record per crew member. When false, it returns all potentially valid records including overlapping entries.

What does the active parameter do?

When true (the default), the API only returns crew with a valid contract, home base and rank in the date range. When false, it returns all crew.

What owner codes are available?

BLX, JAF, TFL, TUI, TOM.

Responses

What happens when the response is too large?

If the payload exceeds 5 MB, or if you set responseFile=true, the API stores the result as a JSON file and returns a pre-signed download URL valid for 60 seconds.

Can I receive XML instead of JSON?

No. JSON is the only response format.

Support

Who owns this API?

The AOPS Tech team. For questions and issues, visit https://tui-air-links.com.

How do I request a change to the API?

Submit a request via https://tui-air-links.com with specific data requirements and the business benefit.
