What does this API do?

The Aviation Crew Master Data API gives authorised systems access to crew information for all TUI Airlines. It pulls data from the IDPS crew tracking system, refreshing approximately every five minutes so that responses reflect near real-time information.

You can retrieve crew records for an entire airline over a date range, or look up a single crew member by their identifier.

Purpose

Airline operations depend on accurate, up-to-date crew data for scheduling, compliance and workforce management. Without this API, every consuming system would need its own integration with IDPS, which is slow to build, hard to govern and easy to break.

This API replaces those point-to-point integrations with a single, consistent interface that any approved application can consume.

Key capabilities

• Retrieve all active or inactive crew for a TUI airline within a date range
• Look up a single crew member by identifier
• Choose which data categories to include in the response: home base, rank, fleet, expiries, airport expiries, travel documents, visas, additional information, contracts
• Request a deduplicated flat view or a full view with all overlapping records
• Filter by rank, rank type or home base
• Large responses are automatically stored as a downloadable file with a time-limited link
