Aviation Flight Schedule API

What does this API do?

The flight schedules API provides real-time data from IDPS for all flights operated by TUI Airlines and holds a time range of current day - 1 month and current day + 4 months.

Purpose

This API exists to give internal TUI systems and approved consumers a single, reliable source of truth for flight scheduling data sourced from the IDPS (Integrated Data Processing System). It answers the question: "What's the scheduled time for a TUI flight or flights?"

Key capabilities

• Query a specific flight by its internal ID, designator + flight number + date, or a date range
• Filter flights by airline (designator/owner), aircraft owner, aircraft registration, purpose, or status
• Include optional detail sections: crew members, passengers, ACARS times, fleet info, ground services, and remarks
• Scope-based response views (Standard, Extended, Sensitive) to control the level of detail returned
• Automatic large-response handling — payloads exceeding 5 MB are stored on S3 and a pre-signed download URL is returned
• Correlation ID support for end-to-end request tracing across systems
