Aviation Airline Data API

What does this API do?

This API gives you access to reference and operational data used to run TUI airline operations. It covers crew roster codes, crew ranks, expiry codes, crew complements for flights, aircraft configuration, active airports, and crew longhaul day off rules.

In short, if you need to know what codes appear on a crew member's roster, how many crew are required on a flight, which aircraft are active for an airline, or which airports are currently in use, this API can answer it.

Purpose

TUI airlines and their supporting systems need a single, consistent source of this reference and operational data rather than each system holding its own copy. This API exposes that data from the TUI crew tracking system so consuming applications always work with the same up to date information.

Data is refreshed from the source system every five minutes, so responses may be up to five minutes behind the live system.

Key capabilities

• Look up active roster codes, additional info codes, crew rank codes, and expiry codes per TUI airline
• Retrieve crew complement requirements for a flight, by date range, by flight ID, or by flight number and route
• Retrieve aircraft configuration and active/inactive status per airline
• Retrieve active airport reference data, including IATA/ICAO code lookups
• Retrieve crew longhaul day off configuration, including by specific route
• Request large result sets as a downloadable file instead of an inline response
